CORPORATE COUNSEL SERVICES:
The Corporate Counsel Program allows us to partner with you to provide basic legal services for an agreed upon flat rate plus costs. While each program is individually negotiated to reflect your needs, typical services include:
Unlimited "off-the-cuff" advice on an as-needed basis
Annual form contract reviews
Annual "lessons learned" meetings with management and staff
Annual filings with the State Corporation Commission
Maintenance of minutes from regularly scheduled board meetings
Establishment of special purpose entities to own or construct high risk projects
Standard collection activities on uncontested matters.
The Corporate Counsel Program allows your management and staff to get experienced legal advice on common contract and jobsite issues without having to worry about what your bill will look like at the end of the month. By freeing your staff to seek advice when they have a question, we can help you take care of little problems before they become big problems. We can also help you avoid contractual traps by aswering questions that come up during the contract negotiation phase.
As your corporate counsel, we provide timely risk management through our annual form contract reviews and "lessons learned" meetings. At the "lessons learned" meetings, we go over not just your war stories, but those we have learned by monitoring the industry and the most recent legal developments throughout the country.
We also help you manage corporate risks by helping you comply with the appropriate formalities to maintain the protections afforded by your status as a corporation or LLC.
